Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 bag semi-thawed hash browns
  • 1 onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F. 
  2. Melt butter and pour into the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan. 
  3. Mix together soup, milk, sour cream and 1 cup of cheese. Add in the hash browns and chopped onion. Mix well. 
  4. Spread into pan and top with the rest of the cheese. 
  5. Bake for 50 minutes.
